You can delete your CARVAN account yourself at any time, in the app or on carvan.me. It takes effect at once and cannot be undone.
In the app (Android or iPhone)
Open the menu → Account → Delete account, then tap Delete my account.
On the web
On carvan.me, log in with your mobile number and the code we send you, then open the menu → Account → Delete account, and tap Delete my account.
What is deleted
Your mobile number, your name, your saved places, the vehicles not named in a booking, your chats (for the center too), your cart, favourites, service reminders, reports, log-ins and push devices. Bookings not started yet are cancelled.
What stays
Your past bookings stay with their centers, because they are the centers' business records: with the vehicles they name, under "Deleted customer", with no name or number. Your reviews stay with their stars and text, signed "A customer". CARVAN's team keeps the log of its own actions on accounts for 12 months, and which promo codes your number used is kept in a one-way coded form (never the number itself).
A service center
In the center app: Settings → Delete account. The center is closed and its log-in removed; its booking records stay without the account.
Can't log in?
Write to support@carvan.me, or message us on WhatsApp from the number on your account, and ask us to delete it. We may first check that the request comes from your number.
